Facility/Directions
The 'Hoopin' with the Hawks' Basketball Camps are located on the campus of Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND. The University and city are situated near the scenic North Dakota Badlands and 35 miles from Historic Medora.
Dickinson State University provides some of the finest facilities in the Upper Midwest. Two connected indoor facilities that house five regulation size basketball courts are available for instruction and games. The residence halls used to house athletes provide a comfortable living area. The newly renovated Student Center houses the pool, cafeteria, and recreation area. All facilities are located within a two-block area. The facilities are outstanding and lend themselves to a well organized camp.
Directions to Dickinson State University
From the East
Heading west on Interstate 94, exit at 61 and turn left (south) onto Hwy 22 (3rd Avenue West) and continue for approximately one mile. Turn right (west) onto 3rd Street West and continue west for approximately ½ mile.
From the West
Heading east on Interstate 94, exit at 59 and turn right (south) onto I-94 Business Loop and continue south for approximately 1.3 miles. Then continue east on I-94 Business Loop (West Villard Street) for approximately .4 miles and then turn left (north) onto 11th Avenue West.
From the North
Heading south on Hwy 22 (from Killdeer/Manning area) will bring you into north Dickinson. Continue on Hwy 22 (3rd Avenue West) going over I-94. Turn right (west) onto 3rd Street West. Continue west for approximately ½ mile.
From the South
Heading north on Hwy 22 (from New England area) will bring you into south Dickinson. Continue on Hwy 22 (3rd Avenue West) heading north. Turn left (west) onto West Villard Street (I-94 Business Loop). Continue west for approximately ½ mile, and then turn right (north) onto 11th Avenue West.
