Head Coach Andre Goldberg
Andre Goldberg enters his third season as head women's basketball coach at Dickinson State University where he also serves as director of sports information.
Last season Goldberg led the Blue Hawks to a 15-13 record and a 7-7 mark in the DAC. The15 wins during his inaugural season are tied for the most ever by a first year women's coach at DSU. Over the past two season's the women's program has amassed a 30-26 record overall.
Under Goldberg's guidance, the Blue Hawks have not only worked hard to excell on the court but have also done so in the classroom. In 2010-2011 the Lady Blue Hawks recorded a team grade point average of 3.31, while six ladies gained academic recognition on the conference and national level.
As a point guard at McCook Community College (NE), Goldberg garnered All-Conference and Academic All-American honors in the classroom while setting school season assist records on the court. In 2005 he transferred to Black Hills State University where he guided the Yellow Jackets to two successful seasons. Goldberg's coaching career began at Dickinson State where he assisted current men's head coach Ty Orton for two seasons.
In 2008 Goldberg worked with the Orlando Magic and the National Basketball Academy teaching basketball and training athletes across central Florida. While in Orlando Goldberg also served as the director for the Magic Youth Basketball Camps.
Goldberg received his bachelor's degree from Black Hills State University. In 2011 He received his master of arts in human performance and physical education from Adams State University (CO). A native of Boulder, Colo., Goldberg resides in Dickinson with his wife Courtney.
